Today is the HP game. The big Hagrid party on the school grounds to meet Ruby's boyfriend. Made the invitations for party. Matt found music for a witch band that he is using.We got the butter beer and the wands are ready. So psyched.

Yay, school is out, no surgeries on the feet, it's fun, fun, fun. That hubby mule had better get his ass in gear and come out and play with me. Have some plans- road trips with Paul, the race track with my buds from work and they want to teach me how to drive. Thinking of also going on some trips of haunted places around in area. VW has started me on that kick after reading about her adventures in her journal. Has Dave interested too.

Steve is in to help at school. He can drive so we can load up the car and bring the stuff to the new building. Last year I had Matt and we threw everything in the dumpster. It's 3-4 blocks and we wiould look like homeless people with the dumpster. It was easier last year, less distance to go. Damn annoying to have to move classrooms every year. We are lucky that Steve isn't working and he can stay over. Besides he needed help on his profile. I think he wants to kidnap a baby bird. he likes the special guy with the crooked me. He called him Dredd

Sly, the baby bird with the crooked beak has a hoarse kind of chirp. So cute! So happy maria is taking him and doesn't care that he is "special". She thinks he is lucky to have. That warms my heart.

Every year I go through the same shit .No more Teacher's Choice so I go through this charity thing that I write proposals for materials that I need for my class. Every year they say leave all the materials in the room. Well, then when I get to my room, there is nothing there. So I write up my proposals for what i need. Then the hubby twitters it and people make donations. That how I get my supplies. Not to mention all the out of pocket money I spend.. Not only do I have to write the proposal but take pictures of my class using the materials . They have to be downloaded to the site. Then the kids have to send thank you cards to each donor. it's a lot of work but I'm grateful that people help us out. I can't stand the logic of administration that after all MY work to get supplies and materials for my class that I'm expected to just give the stuff away to someone who did nothing. Then in return I get zero to start with the following year. I started last year in Kindergarten with no blocks. Come on , enough already. No wonder my co-teacher wants to leave to go to law school. We get tired of all this bullshit.

I feel really bad about the new baby bird. Actually one of the 2. Mama bird sat on them and I think she deformed his beak. I was happy that my friend Maria who is taking them said our special ed birdie is a blessing . Glad she feels that way. Dave said if she didn't want him, we would keep him and call him Sly.
